Flan Recipe
Heat up 2 cups of sugar on medium heat until it's golden brown liquid. Then proceed to pour the caramel sauce into 4 porcelain ramekins. Make sure to not take too long or the caramel will harden into the pan.
Pre Heat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit
In a blender add the Eggs, Vanilla Extract, Cream Cheese, Condensed Milk and Evaporated Milk. Then proceed to blend the ingredients.
Pour the blended ingredients equally onto the 4 porcelain ramekins and cover them with foil.
Next fill a deep dish pan with water; enough water for the ramekins to to be covered half way. Once the water pan and ramekins are set then place in the oven for 40 minutes. (Bake longer if necessary; insert a toothpick through the foil and if it comes out clean then the flan is ready)
Remove the flan from oven and take off the foil and proceed to place the flan in the refrigerator over night
With a butter knife insert the knife around the molds edges to remove the flan
Once flan is loosened from the mold. Grab a plate and flip the mold onto the plate and tap the top of the mold to release the flan. (If flan is being stubborn then it might be necessary to use the butter knife again to scrape the edges again to help release the flan)
Top it off with the caramel cage and with your favorite fruit to enjoy the creamy dessert!
Caramel Cage
Flip over the ramekins onto a cooling tray and cover them in vegetable oil or butter. (Make sure they're thoroughly covered with the oil/butter)
Heat up 1 cup of sugar on medium heat until it's golden brown liquid. Make sure to not take too long or the caramel will harden onto the pan.
With a fork spread the caramel onto the top of the ramekins. Make sure the caramel drips all the way down to the molds.
Let them cool for 10 minutes before gently removing them out of the molds. (It should slip right out with no hassle)
